    Woxner ???

Hi, I've known you throughout the years and have always respected your knowledge with Konica Minolta. What is your honest opinion with the "i" series and do you know if / what changes were made with the new 1's ? Thanks

changes between the 0s and the 1s is virtually nothing. they redesigned the output tray in the middle, changed some things with the adf. the new c451is-c651is are incompatible with the oldest pc-416s and 216s, and id imagine the 316s and 116s.
this may extend to the c251is-361is, but havent tested.

the main thing i think they did was add a token "setup screen", i heard from someone on this site it was to do with the EUs complience laws or some crap like that.

TLDR all major changes are cosmetic, no supplies or drum changes, no parts or anything.

Even the setup wizard is available on the 0i series as a feature of newer firmware.

I don't mind the I series. Biggest problem is the fuser and drums not lasting. I have not had. A lot of the issues mist have had. Just have to deal with each machine quarks. 8 and 4 series were good machines. Must not test machines like the old days. But machines do so much more then the used too.
