I have a C3320i that seems to have the classic CPUB rebooting issue. I have a used machine at the office I can use for parts. The wording in the service manual isn't clear if I can use the CPUB only. Will it be ok if I use the storage board from the original machine? I know not to use both.

swapping in a used CPUB will throw up a CD072 Error. i think there is a way to reset the CPUB but i don't know how. maybe someone will let us know how? -
You can but you need to use a reset firmware before loading machine type and firmware.Comment

Yes. You will probably have to install the boot rom before firmware or firmware won't load. I will say new cpu is always bestComment
