xerox versant 180 to konica minolta c7090

I have been working with xerox versant 180 for 8 years
there is an offer from konica minolta to sell me accurio press c7090
does this machine worth to replace with xerox
Im asking about toner cost and spare parts and machine strength
the price after discount offered is 40000 usd without the IQ unit
any thoughts ? .....

I'm not a fan of the C7090. I work on the C4080 which is a smaller version of the C7090 and also work on the C7100 which is a faster version an both brand new have banding issues and drums only go about 50-60%.
If you do decide to buy it , you would be best to get the IQ unit. The IQ is a great unit
I cant speak on how it is vs the xerox I've never worked on them.

both machines have pluses and minuses. Xerox also have problem with drum life and 2nd btr. C7090/7100 throwing often error codes and if you dont have experience can turn your mind. Quality of both is good. The best is to have both of them, because Xerox is better in heavy medias, but print cost is cheaper on KM.
