what server are they using for authentication? or just local to the copier?
they could always send a secure print, assign a password to it and it will wait in the queue until they swipe in and print from their box using the password.
just an alternative.

They set ON( external server ), linked server with active directory.Comment

after card scan the print job should be in the queue waiting for you to hit start.
if printer pooling is on they may be able to print from whichever copier they choose to use IIRC.
unless im confusing it with papercut?We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
