Any way to tell if a 250i has been clocked back?

As the title says is there any tell tale signs a machine has been clocked back other than worn parts? Does the mac address change when they are reset and should it match up with what's on the CPUB? Just a bit worried as one I've bought has 3000 scans in total including copy mode and the rollers are completely worn on the ADF?

I've bought many super low meter C250i's and same thing with worn ADF rollers. I look at the transfer roller. If it's a very low meter machine the transfer roller should still be yellow. Don't forgot with lease returns some dealers will swap parts like the ADF's etc.
Also it's not that easy to roll back meters on these machines. Think you would have to replace boards.

Cheers mate. I actually figured out how to clock them back accidently and I would say its quite easy if I'm honest. But I suspect you're correct in that they swapped the ADF

Yes check ADF serial number entered in service mode against plate of ADF itself.

One way is to turn on the WEB browser option. If the copier counter was reset the quick way then the web browser option won't turn on, If the counter was reset the "correct way" then I don't think you can tell,.

cheers pal. Turned on web browser no issue so I'm just gonna accept that they've swapped the ADF which is still annoying but it is what it is.

We check the parts counters in service mode. Usually, if a meter has been reset the fuser and transfer belt counters don't reset. Have seen a lot of refurbs with super low counts too good to be true and check the fuser count and it is 80k higher than meter count.
