    Black header blue text body

Yet all the text is black.
My c454 is doing this and I'm not sure why.
I've already fone several image stabilization on bit. The drums are new. It hasn't been in use for a while because it kept jamming. I decided to turn it on tonight and run it and it's doing this.
And it happens specifically parts of the booklet and paper.
    Any advice?

    Hope everyone is doing well

I would start by making absolutely sure the text is in fact black and not a really dark blue (that looks black on a PC screen) in whatever document you are printing it from.
Next step would be to fill us in on what program you are printing from and what the file type is.

I really it only shows up like that. Other files too in pdf prints like that. Butbits strange as we have some files print ok.
I was able to get the blue bar sorted cleaned the lens.

The text though especially when it's like a paragraph is not as sharp and has some blue in it.
Will try to do a lot of copies and see what hapoenes. Out other printer is printing the same files nice. (XEROX C75 AND OHASER 7800)

when i suspect composite black issues i print the file in grayscale to see if the black is light where it should be dark.
id still reset and stabilize then run gradations. this may get rid of the blue haze

            The medication helps though...

              To rule out the printer:

Try print some full page test prints with only Cyan (and the other color's while you're on it) - full bleed and half tone.

And looking at the PDF file:

Also make shure to print from acrobat reader not any 3rd party application or browser plug in.
You can try select print "PDF as image" test wise.

In case it's a file issue: "Got it straight from a customer" isn't really something I would rely on LOL

That font that is suppose to be black isn't obviosly black - even a slighty "colored" black will look like solid black but the MFP will try and mix it from color,
this usually end up with blurry text-edges.

You can also use something like CutePDF "PDF printer" to remake the PDF and see if that makes a difference.
