C284e Black Screen after update FW

    Hello guys how are you?
I have a problem with my equipment (Konica C284e) after the technician installed a firmware. First TPM was modified. Second, the machine reboots and black screen, it doesn't come out of it anymore. I saw on a blog that have a firmware that can solve the black screen.

First update A5C10Y0-F000-G20-K9 (PRINT AND SCAN functions disabled)
    Second Update A5C10Y0-F000-G00-K5 (TPM ERROR)
Third phase, Format SSD (LOL) Black Screen

When I send firmware update appears on screen top 6.05
With another SSD the machine turns on but tpm error appears

I don't understand much about it but I need to do something because I want to help with whatever it takes

    Someone can help me?

    Att. Luiz

What was issue before updates? perhaps the memory battery is bad. a lot of the 4 series are experiencing this battery issue. The firmwares you posted are all old. It's really hard to get machine to work swapping SSD's from one machine to another. I've done it and have been successful but only 50% of the time.

I would try the reset firmware and start fresh.

the problem was in a yellow color glitch in thick 1+ onwards. Replaced all the parts and the problem persisted. until they tried to install a new FW. I'm trying to help the technician but I don't quite understand how to update just the ssd. I read that you couldn't upgrade from 6.00 straight to 6.05. And that's what was done. I'm just a user of the machine, I work with it. But I have to help with what I can because I'm the one who loses customers. do you have any newer firmware you could upload?

Part of the problem I'm seeing, other than both those firmware versions being extremely old, is that you went backwards with the firmware. You started out with a newer version and then installed an older version; K9 down to K5. I'd first start by putting the K9 back on, then after that you need find a new service technician. If this person really is a "service technician" that has done this, FIRE THEM! Find someone that actually has a clue how to work on these machines. It's blatantly obvious that they are clueless. There is no reason at all to downgrade the copier to an older version of firmware, unless you are installing the bleeding edge version and it creates an unforeseen issue. With as old as both those versions are, that downgrade should have never happened, and anybody with any knowledge of these machines and at least half a brain would have never done it.

Sorry, just my un-sugar-coated opinion here.

My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...
