Konica Minolta 450i KEEP REBOOTING

    Konica Minolta 450i KEEP REBOOTING

    How is going guy? hoping is all good in this new year. As today this is my first problem with a Biz 450i.
    Machine had a error code c-D325 when you first started then it reboots itself and shows another code E201, I had make a reset but all the same, then I make a firmupgrade and now the machine keep rebooting all the time and shows nothing on display , only to reboot again. Any one that have the same code problems or any suggestions are welcome to help with this problem.
    Me I think is the SSD card as always with the same problem with the other i series, but checking the Service Manual it says that is the CPU or the Baseboard. so I need little help from you guys.

      I had the same on a C3350i, it was the CPU board

          Really sucks these new models are having these type of issues already! I'm going to avoid selling them as long as possible!

              Have you tried the Recovery tool for this. Found that this works. May have to run it a couple times, but it will work most of the time.

                  No I have not done that yet, since most of the problems with the "i" series is always SSD card so I wast thinking is the SSD card and I will try that tomorrow so I will hope is only this and not the CPU as you say. but thanks for the info, guess that will be my next move.

                      So first do the recovery tool. There is also a diagnostic tool that we'll test the memory module ect. You can also hold down the sub power button while powering on to do a diagnostic if it makes it to that point.

                          I had a 450i rebooting. Replaced the cpu board did not fix it. Replaced the SSD on the CPU board, it fixed the problem. The recover tool would not work on mine or firmware with the rebooting issue.

                              I had a C360i that had both a rebooting issue and a freezing issue. Started with the SSD, that did fix the rebooting issue, but the machine still would randomly freeze up. Replacing the CPU board fixed the freezing issue. I would definitely try the SSD first if your problem is strictly with rebooting.
