The saga continues Biz C454e internal error....

Ok so this is getting more interesting and follow-up to recent C454e posts about same issue. Customer called back and said the message is back "An internal error has occurred. System will reboot and error will be cleared"

Here is where it gets interesting, I went back today and it only throws message when trying to duplex and jams. NO ERROR or JAM CODES in history.
Customer said it had been jamming with duplex for several months only 1st duplex job of the day but would be good rest of that day after the one jam, with NO internal error message. Then when I did original call and replaced the FS-534 board for machine not recognizing the finisher & updating firmware they started to get message.

Printing and copying fine as long as not duplexing.

Disconnected finisher & put firmware back to G20-M1 (these were the 2 things I did before getting the "internal error" message) Figured it was worth a try but didn't help. Still get message with duplexing.

    Thanks for the help

Does it really reboots after they have that message?
If not rebooting itself how they get rid off it?
Wild guess - hopefully maybe it is only firmware/function version and animation data discrepancy...

It didn't reboot by itself while I was there. I waited for around 5 mins then turned off and on with main pwr switch. They said they would also turn off and back on to clear messg.

Few other things, battery voltage is 3.3

It now jams and internal messg every time you try and duplex.

          The battery voltage is 3.3v

I was going to try error clear next. Also thinking of cleansing the MFP board with reset tool.

Try to force a jam code/abort code to display on screen. Go into service mode, system 2 and disable the Internal Error Auto Cancel options.

Back out to the copy screen and try to run a duplex job, you should get some sort of J or C code.

it happened to me a few days ago that a c284 machine gave me continuously "An internal error has occurred.
System will reboot and error will be cleared" without error code
I noticed that the date and time were wrong both the one set by the service mode and that of administration.
reset those for a week everything seems to work

There will be a new error message on the Management List, and in the Event Log. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
