C360i Firmware update fail machine stuck on boot up

My boss tried updating our Bizhub C360i and after about 30 min he restarted the printer thinking it either completed or didn't start. Turns out it was still installing.

    1. Can I just reflash the latest firmware?
    2. How do I get the latest firmware?
    3. Any other steps you would recommend.

I spent a few hours going through historical posts so thank you to everyone who is part of this community. These machines are complicated and hidden behind business practices so seeing sites like this exist make me happy.

Well it turns out we have a C360 not a C360i. Do you have anything for that model?

I spoke to the boss and it turns out it wasn't a firmware update but he disabled User Authentication and now the errors shows up as C-C211 authentication.

Try to do logical format of HDD(you will lost some data but not a big deal).

                  Try this:

Description: CC211 error code at power ON.

                  Solution:
                  PROBABLE CAUSES:
                  1.
                  Corrupt data on hard drive.
Perform the logical format of the Hard disk assembly using these steps.
                  a. Enter Service Mode: Stop 0 0 Stop 0 Clear.
                  b. Touch these keys in this order: [State Confirmation] g [Memory / HDD Adj.] g Memory/HDD Adj.-HDD Format.
                  c. Select Logical Format (only when initially setting up).
                  d. Touch [Logical Format].
                  e. Press the Start key to start the formatting sequence. The sequence will terminate automatically when it is completed.
                  f. Turn the main power switch OFF; after 10 seconds or more, turn it back ON.
IMPORTANT: Formatting the hard disk will erase all data contained on it.

When I type in the Stop 0 0 Stop 0 Clear it just beeps for each press and nothing happens.

YouTube is my go to but I think this model is too old. I did get to the Trouble Reset page hold Utility/Counter until Logo, then type Stop 0 0 Stop 0 1 but the keyboard pop's up for about 1 sec and disappears so I cannot type in the code in.

I am reviewing the correct service manual now and will post an update once I have success or more failure. Fingers crossed for the former.

It is fixed! Thanks to everyone for their help.

                            1. I removed the panels and unplugged the hard drive, rebooted.
                            2. Jumped into service mode, selected HDD and changed it to installed (does it reset to not installed?), rebooted.
                            3. Error comes up about HDD integrity, realize I had the hard drive still unplugged so plugged it back in and rebooted.

All errors gone. Everything works. Thanks for teaching me a lot!
