this copier is one I traded in and it is in my office now.. calling for yellow and cyan toners. I have not been able to get the mylars even figured out which ones to cut back . I did pull the yellow toner out and manually slid the shutter and forgot to slide it back to closed. so my floor is full of yellow toner now lol
I did tdake a pic of the flapper inside of the shutter but posting pics seems harder then figuring out this problem just trying to determine if the problem is a toner bottle issue with the flapper or the toner shutter on the copier is giving me fits.. thanks for al the help guys

ok well I must have had a couple bad toner bottles.. replacedwith a new oem unopened bottle of y toner.. message went away. was that too ea sy? lol

I do forget sometimes to give feedback.. which is bad if one asks for help here they need to give feedback. as that is how things get notated and fixed.. thanks all

Yes, that's exactly what I'm guessing in my cases. I had only OEM orignal Toner... so it would be interesting to know if the counter from tonerbottle chip in Servicemode increases or not.Comment

The Jap's are funny with not admitting to a problem until they have a solution for it. You could have 10 machines doing same thing and other dealers tell you they are having same issue and when you call tech support they say they never heard of problem before. A short while later you get a bulletin that there is a known issue, etc etc....

The Jap companies will never admit to an issue usless they have a solution to fix. Also the tech help line has been the same for 40 years, same old story from them after spending an hour on the phone call, "bad board".....👍 2Comment
