KONICA C554e - Doesn't print in color

Good day,

When i try to print a color page, if i choose grayscale or color auto, it prints always too dark that we can't see the printer image.

Transfer belt has been replaced.
Fusing unit has been replaced.
Drum has been replaced.

Settings and driver are correct.

What could be the issue?

Just to be clear, how does the internal test pages look? If you post samples it will help. Both demo page (color) & configuration page (mono). Menu, utility, user settings, printer settings, print reports, select what test page, select paper tray & blue start button to print out test page.

were the appropriate counters reset?
were any calibrations made like initialize and stabilize then full set of gradation adjustments.
this will cure that 75% of the time.
OEM toner or pretty dirt in a bottle?
IDC sensors under the belt cleaned?

i ask because you only specified the replaced parts and didnt mention any proper adjustments and i do not assume anyone has done them unless specified.

Yes, start with the basics as mentioned above and the samples would paint a picture to decipher by the detectives here. All the above 100%..

i had a customer tick "Print in greyscale" in Adobe Reader complain that she couldnt print in colour and claim that driver settings were definitely correct.

But im guessing he mean the density is to dark. Prob need IDC sensors cleaned and a fresh stabilization and gradation adjustment
