i remember a long time ago i had to put the system back on one and i think i remember using a serial cable maybe it was null-modem type?
hope it was USB.
it was a long time ago.

12/2021 the 6000l was put to pasture and the IC601 was also done 6/2022.
there is no longer official support for either.

also the 601 may not even show up in a browser due to the lack of non-ssl {http} unles you can convince internet destroyer in compatibility mode.
todays network protocols have change dramatically from the days when the 601 was popular. (and supported)

Yes in the back of the machine is the whole hc-514 box,
regarding the controller do you have a guide on how to reinstall the os?
For the IC-413 I have to search, but in the meantime I will repair the 601

i have a couple ic-413s i just use for file storage but because they only have XP version of fiery OS.
but, the older browsers on them will allow communication in HTTP instead of HTTPS as required by newer OS/browser.
good luck, i hope its simple.

is there an LED readout on the controller? what does it read after 10 minutes or so?

The controller with the disks connected starts up and shortly afterwards goes into standby while with the disks disconnected (I leave only the ssd active) it starts up and does not go into standby but I do not see any active LEDs, only the rear network LEDs

Another update, unplugged the sata hd's and left the controller with the ssd disk works but the printer gives me an error SC00-004, I assume because the disks are missing (after testing them externally they don't work), having to replace them what should I do? Do you always need two 250gb disks or can I exchange them for a larger pair?

how did you test them? im pretty sure they run linux and the partitions are unreadable in windows.
use diskpart and see if they even show up.

Latest update,
the disks seem to be working, the machine has resumed life... and death
what happened is quite bizarre, one step that proved to be crucial in the resurrection of the machine was to unplug the nvram module and plug it back in after a few minutes
I did this when it first resurrected but didn't give it the proper importance by blaming it on the controller, then later it re-locked and I only did this one thing and the machine started working again,
has this ever happened to anyone?
Is there any way I can fix it other than disconnecting and reattaching the module?

check for 3.3v battery on whatever board you find them.
machine is old and its a possibility.
was the date and time correct after reseating the nvram?

After a while I got back behind the car but the trick does not work anymore and even having replaced the battery from the module (the white one) the situation has not changed, do you have any suggestions? If it helps, even when pressing the utility/counter button the car never went into recovery, anyway thank you in advance

I went ahead and removed the optional memory of the machine and the nvram, starting it up like this I realised that the music that should be heard is interrupted after 2 seconds, to understand it I'm talking about the music that you hear in this video... while this machine goes into recovery mine remains with the logo and interrupted music
