    Bizhub C308 intermittently ghosting image.

It's an issue with the fusing unit. I have confirmed this by taking samples from the customer and feeling the texture of the toner. All the settings for the paper are correct. I replaced the fuser issue returned. I raised the temperature of the fuser, and the issue returned. I tried turning off smart fusing control, and the issue has once again returned. I cannot recall if these units have a board that powers the fuser or if it is part of a larger assembly. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I had this issue with a C368 and did all the same things you did. Seemed like it was only first page out after sitting awhile so thought turning off sleep mode, replaced fuser and increased fuser temp to max +10 but none helped. Turned out to be aftermarket black toner. It was during the toner shortage last year. Was able to get a genuine toner and problem went away.

Not sure if that was the issue yet, as it isn't consistent, but the machine did have a non-oem cart in it. I put an oem in and ran a boatload of halftones through to run down some of the old toner. I also decided to go ahead and disable sleep mode. I'll keep yall posted.
