K toner cartridge...doesn't get recognized! I PUT same cartridge in another machine and it works fine.IU unit is fine contact's are good ect

I can not give you a straight answer but based on my experience I have the feeling that if other toner and/or image unit contacts have a problem it might affect the K-cartridge too.

You could try resetting the K toner count.

Turn on engine switch with SW59 set to 1. Then Engine SW System 2 SW set to 1 to clear then set back to 0 (this is from memory check the CE manual)
