    C3320I SD card

Got a c3320i that sd card went bad. Ordered a new one from konica installed mfp came up and booted. Can not fax and scan. Sd card konica sent was 8gb old one was 16gb so evertime you try to fax it says insufficient memory. Customer needs fax asap do you think a normal micro sd card from best buy would work and a 32gb one? Are the cards konica send a full clean brand new one?

Check in service mode system 2 that sd card is set/enabled.

Yes it was asking for animation guild loading it made no difference when you go into service mode and look at the memory states there was no vacant memory left. We ended up getting a brand new one 32gb from a store put it in and it worked no issues started it up with firmware right away. So not sure why they sent a 8gb and why theirs is over $100 and a 32 gb that works is $35 haha

All boards in the machines (even the SD cards and storage boards) are warrantied for 3 years. The cost should have been covered under warranty, unless you are not an authorized dealer or the machine was installed at the customer's site more than 3 years ago?

My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

Yes you are right but customer was upset and needed the fax that day because our tech that was working on it was working with Konica support and they told him to do the cpu board first then that did not work for him so then they told him to do the SD card, that got the mfp to turn on and print but not fax and they use fax for medical info everyday and been down for a week. So we wanted to get them up and going asap is all. I just thought it was funny how Konica SD card is 100 plus.

I have used a 16gb class 10 SD card from a local source. Install SD card then boot up into firmware update.
