    Developer replenishment

    Hi Peeps,

Just wanted to know if anyone has tried to replenish the developer on the 8 series or i series machines?
I know on some older models you were able to get hold of bottles of dev, but didn't know if this was the case here.
This would only be for when the units dump the the developer due a faulty drum, not for when they reach full life limit,

Also has anyone been successful converting DR313 drums to fit the i series?

Too early but when the moment arise I would try swapping individual parts from cheaper unit to expensive one i.e. developer powder, cylinder, etc.

You can add developer if it becomes low. Aftermarket bags of developer are sold. But you have to address why it lost developer which is usually caused by over life consumable. Most likely the drum from what ever color is low. But any over life consumable can cause any developer to dump.
