    Reset counter

Hi everyone, I've heard several suppliers reset the Konica Minolta page counter. Does anyone know this procedure?

    Why?
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

Are you REALLY that bad at math? I highly doubt it.

KMBS or any reputable dealer will never reset total meters. Especially when selling a used machine! Besides it's not that easy to do.

It's almost like when shady car dealers rolled back the odometer on used cars. Also hard to do now a days.

Nope. At the most reset the count for the transfer roller for the smaller machines (554 and below, 658 and below, etc), since they come with the transfer belt and will be replaced based off of that counter. Or reset the filters for the larger ones (654 and above, 808 and above, etc) since those are shipped and replaced off the drum counter.
This is how we kept track of ticks since maintenance without having to look at service logs
