As it is color machine. Which color is low and are you getting any copy quality issue? What is the counter?

No code . but when you print a lot .TCR Value will drop from 7.0- 2.XX then you add toner manual toner bottle and turning and up back to 7.
* when you print around 300 copies solid print , you can see CMY turning K only never turn . sub hopper motor function ok *

Sounds like the sensor in the hopper isn't triggering the system to refill the hopper. Check this bulletin for tips. It's specifically for the i-series, but the hopper is similar enough that it should apply to the 308 as well.

That bulletin is where i would go first, but also check if the hopper is empty and is not filling up to clean the hopper sensor (A5C1M50100) as a toner spill in the hopper area can get to that sensor, easier in the "i" models. This sensor is very common so I would swap it with one from a paper feed or where ever you want, then see if that makes a differences if you are thinking about buying one or going to go get one.

service your hopper unit .

1. check there's 4 sensor at hopper for each colour . make sure sensor is clean not covered by toner

2. check each toner tank can turn freely

3. check tiny plastic in toner tank , make sure can stir the toner

Have the same issue with a C458, toner will turn and K hopper will load in service mode but gradually TCR sensor drops to 0% because toner doesn't replenish while printing, all colours work fine.

Fitted a new K toner, hopper unit, dev, drum & loaded latest firmware but still the same problem

Would the K toner have been replaced recently and the chip has failed to read and the machine still thinks the K toner is empty?

We had a problem with a machine not adding magenta toner, but it was because the machine thought the toner had not been replaced.

Is it giving a 2557 code and/or is it saying to replace toner bottle? It sounds like your sensor on the K unit is still not working properly or the actuator for the sensor. It could be a bad connection with the wire or the board. Is the hopper empty when you show up? when you do a hopper fill does the hopper fill to the top with no room? on the 808 they fill to the top but on lower speed like yours they should have some room on top then you still should be able to see the toner if you open the shutter. If there is no toner in the hopper it thinks it is full and will never run the toner bottle but will run it in service mode if you tell it to do a toner add.
