Hi friends

I have a C554e printer and suddenly it ask me to enter the serial no. It was not allowing me to enter in to service mode normally (Meter count Stop 00 stop 01). I tried trouble reset and from that screen I entered in to service mode. I managed to enter the engine serial no, but forgot to enter scanner serial no. Now the panel hangs after few seconds once restarted. Can I get a software to reset the MFPB completely and enter all new data .

Just had same thing today on a C224e. It was a dead battery. All meters were lost. Asking for serial #. I had another "used" MFP board with good battery, moved all the original HDD, SSD, RAM over and worked fine. Only had to input serial #, IP address & scan settings. Only installed the printer serial #, others not necessary.

Just had same thing today on a C224e. It was a dead battery. All meters were lost. Asking for serial #. I had another "used" MFP board with good battery, moved all the original HDD, SSD, RAM over and worked fine. Only had to input serial #, IP address & scan settings. Only installed the printer serial #, others not necessary.

Thanks for your reply. Can I get the MFPB rest software "A145FW.tar" so that I can erase the current MFPB and use it as fresh one by entering the serial no and other settings.

Not sure you understand. That MFP board has to have battery replaced. No need to reset with firmware and will not help with dead battery.

Yes, if the battery is dead, try updating the firmware for a cheap fix.
