    [Misc] Konica Minolta BizHub C300i

I have the titled model machine.

After powered on the following error message showing in the display

"Install waste toner box and close the all doors"

I have checked the following issues.

    1. Waste toner box is empty
    2. Stabilization not working
    3. Gradation not working

    Please suggest further action.

I would imagine if the waster toner box is installed properly then it must be a bad sensor, Waste toner box set sensor (PS46) or the board or cable.

What's the issue prior that situation?
Don't worry to give as much information as possible.
Points 2 and 3 are irrelevant until you solve 1.

Yeah most of us we know the theory
Do you happen to know how to cheat this model to work without WTB and with front door open for a troubleshooting purposes?

It is nearly impossible by yourself, and still VERY difficult if there are two of you. The only way I have found is to move the arm back and forth to block and unblock the sensor, but of course, only when the box should be rotating. Not very easy to keep a steady pace, at the right speed, and still keep track of whatever you were trying to watch with the box removed, all at the same time.

I found this happening on a couple of the 8 series machines. I ended up having to extend the "flag" that detects the bottle, by putting some tape on the flag to make it larger. For whatever reason, it didn't like the bottle, although I did put a new one in... weird..

had this a few times - if its not the sensor inside the front left (either contaminated or faulty) that is activated by the actuator rocking on the cam lobe on the side of the box, it is usually the expansion board (the little one above the base board) that has failed.

Found a couple where the sensor was covered in waste toner. Using contact/electronic cleaner to flush the sensor out works well.
