    C308 Jamming from PC210

I bought off lease Biz C308 with only 18k meter. This was delivered to me so I didn't have a chance to test all functions.

Issue is it jams from both optional trays 3 & 4. It reminds me of issue I had with a C368 when I tried to use a PC415 instead of the PC410. It's like the timing is off and feeding faster so it stops at reg roller and trailing edge is wavey.

The label shows PC210 but since I don't know history of machine maybe back cover was switched by "mistake" and it's a PC215. Is there a way to tell the difference between PC210 & PC215? I did notice that the blue size adjusters in trays are different when compared to old PC210 on a C224e in my shop. Guess I could also check board part #.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Happy New Year!

Hi copyman, the boards are the same. I guess the easiest way would be to have a look at the side door of PCs(page 5 of part manual) they are shaped a bit differently.
    Have a great new year!

What about checking the serial number in CE mode for the PC210 ?

You could try updating the firmware.

Hi, Yes I saw that PC210 & PC215 boards have same part #. Also all motors, etc have same part #'s. Will check out the side door difference but this wouldn't have anything to do with paper feeding faster.

Does the newer PC210 have the same blue paper tray size adjusters as the PC215? Like I mentioned in previous post this was only difference I could see comparing PC215 to PC210 I have in shop. Unfortunately the PC210 I have in shop was in a flood and doesn't work.

        Thanks

I don't have PCs in our office all I know is 210/410 aren't interchangeable with 215/415 probably KM wanted to sell new versions instead dealers using
PCs left from swapped 4/4e series machines.
