just to clarify, a Bizhub Pro C6500 right?
there is no e at the end correct?
if so yes an FS-607 is compatible with the Bizhub Pro C6500.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

i just realized im only considering US market, i forgot other countries have extra numbers or letters sometimes.
if the finisher is popping icp fuses maybe something shorted?
when i was brave, id unplug all connectors from the FCB and plug them in one at a time till i found a sparker and trace the short.
you can also use an ohm meter on the connectors and make sure the pinouts for ground are the only ones showing resistance with the frame.
if you find one that was supposed to be 24+ and the meter beeps then remove one connector at a time until there is no resistance and inspect that circuit.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

hopefully this is a good hunch, that finisher has a stacker in it right?
unplug the stacker wires from the frame connector and see if the error goes away.
i cannot find the fs607 install instructions as i lost my access a year+ ago.

What stacker? Is only the booklet finisher with post inserter.

the stacker is the booklet part.
when you slide out the stacker, follow the arm in the back of it to find the connectors.
finisher may work independently so i was just trying to isolate the problem from the normal finisher part vs the stacker and its circuitry.
