    C4521 code on a 3070L

I got a C-4521 code constantly showing up every time on booting up the machine. I've opened the machine and vacuumed out the toner that spilled on the color registration sensor panel. I also cleaned the sensor on that panel. It seems like the cleaning module for the transfer belt is fine and it already was replaced fairly recently. Is there a couple things I should do in the admin settings in order to get the machine working? Or is there something I might be missing?

Vacuuming could have damaged those patch sensors. I use a blower brush (not canned air) or a stretch-N-dust to clean that area.
First run this adjustment, below. If it fails, you probably blew one of those patch sensor with vacuuming. Replace sensors and run adjustments again:

Clean color registration sensors. Run color registration auto adjustment to re-calibrate the sensors any time it has been removed: Utility > Stop 00 Stop 01 > Machine Adjustment > Printer Adjustment > Color Registration Auto Adj. > Start (perform up to (3) times).

    Ideal values should be -1 < x < +1 =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Seen that happen due to an unearthed vacuum cleaner. On a C1100 I had to replace the shutter motor driver on the main board also due to guys using an electric blower on that sensor assy.

That is good advise to use a blower brush. Moving toner to fast can create real bad static.
      Whatever

Side note on using blower brush. Lately but better late than never I started using blower brush. OEM for like 5 euro. I'm very satisfied and amazed how good this tool is. It's making real wonders on cleaning ADFs and is unbelievable good at cleaning small drum units without disassembly on our Brothers.
        Must have tool definitely.
