    Bizhub C759 jam 66-05

I have a Bizhub C759 that is jamming 66-05 in the adf. I have managed to get it to not jam for normal paper but the customer is scanning that horrendously thin yellow carbonless copy paper that they use in the field.

It has been in this dusty location for a good number of years and quite worn, pieces that don't usually get replaced have.
    I have
    tightened springs on sensor arms
    replaced rollers and clutches
lubricated the white rollers to roll better
made sure all the sensors are clean along with the paper path and rollers
replaced the front lock latch (cracked)
replaced the sheet A3CK300102 as it was worn through

Any suggestions what else I can look at?

there is a chemical in some carbonless papers that eats rollers.
konica likely has a certified brands of paper that was tested ok.

have you tried setting it to thin originals?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Thank you, I will look into the paper brand next time I am onsite.

...I will also try the thin original setting -I was unaware that was a thing as I have limited experience with konica

        Another model but should work:
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

from my experience most of the multi part NCR papers were printed on printing press and well lets face it, a multipart form is so you DONT have to make copies of it!!
          next time get 4 part

but i hope the thin original setting helps.

            Hello Radiscar,

I know you mentioned that you cleaned all sensors, normally a J66-05 is caused by the pre scan PS6 sensor being soiled, also make sure the "black pad" the sensor looks at is clean. Ie pull back the guide and clean. As per sample picture "1" for Black Pad, and PS6 sensor "2".

Just a thought. hope it helps.

            regards Rob

I would just like to thank you all; the issue was quickly solved -it was indeed the black pad and I also showed the customer the "thin original" setting. The NCR paper they are scanning is unfortunately another companies paperwork so sadly there's no input to get it changed.

              Again, Thank you.
