    DI 620 fuser malfuntion

    HELP--I have a 620 with C0500 code, I have changed the SSR,thermistor,main board and RA1. The lamp meters good but wont turn on.Bottom lamp turns on but no top lamp Help

    This is probably a dumb question but is the thermal fuse good?

      yes to the thurmal fuse I should have included that in my things I did, but good quetoin.

        My next guess would be power supply. Haven't touched one of those in a while...

            Pretty sure its p/n 1155-6206-13 (Power Supply PU1). Check with Hytec
            Parts: Its what your copier craves!

                Well it wasnt the C board or the PU1 I have no AC on the lead to the top lamp but it meters godd from the RA1 to the plug into the fuser both sides of the AC mystery to me?

                  Don't know what RA1 is but did you remove the lamp and test it? Also check your door switches they could be cutting the power to the lamps!!

                    I have seen the plug inside the machine break. The metal tabs inside the plug break. Fuser plug doesn't make good contact when this happens. I've had to splice a different plug in a couple of times on this model.

                        Rocky wins broke tab on conector machine side. Ive looked it up on the parts manual not available would any one out there have a dead 620 they could part with the plug?
