Try washing the lower relay clutch, thats the one just below the reg unit on the vertical transport, i believe it comes out with the tray 1 feed roller unit.. Had some good success with that..

Or.. b4 doing that try adjusting the printer resist loop in service mode for the tray in question.

    Regards.

Edit: by washing I mean with 99% isopropyl alcohol. And then drying it out..

Did you replace both clutches in the registration unit? I've never seemed to get only one to fix the problem.

I have also done that in the past but found it wasn't either of em, it was the relay clutch that fed the reg unit not letting go (sticking) causing too much buckle etc etc

          Regards!

it is very common for bizhub 420/500 to have paper jam around the registration units. The cause of this is actually the adu clutches is 'slip' by the greese. just clean it up with alcohol or replace.
