    minolta c250 fax issue

i have installed a fax kit on a imagistics version of a minoltac250.
I realize the word imagistics means POS. but in any case, I have done all nessassary installs, initializing, and have this error msg
"the job has been done improperly". i have recieved this msg in scanner related issues but not faxs. is this a firm ware issue?
please someone help me im sick of this machine.

I love Imagistics (/sarcasm). If you're confident that your install was solid, I would start with the firmware.
Parts: Its what your copier craves!

      Straight from the C250 troubleshooting:

DESCRIPTION: JOB HAS BEEN DONE IMPROPERLY. CHECK THE LOG is displayed when attempting to scan to email when using the standard controller.
CAUSE: The Administrator Email Address and Device Email Address fields must be completed.
SOLUTION: Set the Administrator Email Address and Device Email Address fields.
      1. From PageScope web connection, enter the Admin mode.
      2. Select Network, Email, Email Transmission.
      3. Enter Admin email address.
      4. Enter Device email address.
      5. Select Apply

I can scan to e mail, its the fax , when a fax is sent the error msg pops up
"job has been done incorrectly", its set to default line transmission, not e mail fax, so im thinking it must be a firmware issue?
