C552 w/ FS 526 C-1145 Error Code

Brand new C552 out of the box. Ver 57 on the main body, ver 25 on FS. Will intermittantly throw a C-1145 (End Stopper motor malfunction). When the code pops, I can see and hear the end motor trying to get the stoppers into home postion, but just a lot of drive train noise. Cycle power and everything initilaizes normally. I can sit with customer and run single/double stapled sets with no issues. 1-2 hours after I leave...same code. Customer says they aren't even using staple feature when code pops. FS has a saddle stitcher and hole punch and these are running with no issues. Any ideas? Emujo

Turned out to be both the stapler assy and the sd PWB. Emujo

Thank you very much emujo. But just to clarify, you mean the sd508 drive board, not the finisher c.b?
