I also have a question about the bootup screen. Our previous tech before I started was about to load a screen on our demo units but I cant for the life of me figure out how. Or where he stored our file at. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I tried searching KMBS with no luck. KMA connect does not have any information to help also.

I've been asked to look into bootupscreen so thought I would look on here as most people are quite helpful. been fixing copiers for over 10years now so think I can say I know what I'm doing.

I wanted to chime in and say this actually works on the newer black and white models too, not just the C220/etc series. 223-423 series works great. Really easy to do, takes about 2-3 minutes if you know what you're doing.

Yip, this works really well and it does only take minutes. I have just put a digital version of our sticker onto a C280 and a 283 this morning.
The machine not only displays the image at switch on, but everytime the machine wakes up from low power/sleep aswell. Really impressive to the customer.

I will say, however, that a new process is available. It includes an image convertor from Konica Minolta which creates the BIN file immediately without the need for the hex editor.
It's much quicker and easier.
