Not for the Bz350
Only BW range is Bz283 etc
Color C280/C452 ,C284/C454 etc
C35 also NO

Is the BIZHUB 363 accepts BIN file instead of PNG?

The application supports PNG files
But the MFP will only recognise the BootUpScreen.bin file (after conversion)

The software is very easy to use.

"just make sure the file is saved is BootUpScreen.bin
the MFP wont recognize any other filename."

Today I threw the machine and it's OK. It had to be just a name Bootupscreen.bin and booted.

There is also the option to change "Machine Image" in service mode. Does anyone know what image this refers to, or what the properties of this file need to be?

have got the boot screen working a treat but am also having difficulty getting machine image to recognize file on usb.
I'm not sure of file name and format it requires. Anybody know what requirements are?
Trying on C224e range.

it's a bin file you create from the tools. i use a SanDisk 2gb formatted to fat.

and its bootscreen.bin

I think you're referring to the bootup screen file. I am also interested in changing the machine image screen but cannot find the correct filename to use. I have changed the bootscreen no problems but need to change the machine image screen. Any ideas?
