Second, ES-1000 it is not a must, you can calibrate your Fiery with the X-Rite DTP32 or with the scanner. The only machine where you must have ES1000 is C65HC.
If you want a good calibration of the fiery you are going to need something besides just the scanner of copier.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
