    Bizhub C500 "no toner"

My Bizhub C500 is out of cyan toner ... I need to run some black copies, but machine is stuck at "no toner - please add toner (c)." Is it possible, by changing dip switch settings perhaps, to temporarily disable toner out detection so I can run my black copies until more cyan arrives?

You can open the corresponding toner hopper (cyan) pull out the bottle, tilt and gently shake the bottle downwards and reinstall. This will probably allow you to make a few more copies/impressions. Good luck!

        tech51 ... what's the long answer?

langelot ... no luck on the tapping.

Cyan arrived so I'm back in business but this does come up from time to time so if anybody has a cool trick for this I'm all ears.

        Thanks

Keep some toner in stock and make sure you reorder in time! Works wonders!!!!
