    Konica Minolta 2490MF *RESET PAPER SIZE A4* error

    HI all KM tech,

    I'm having a funny problem due to paper size error.

    I'm using A4 to copy but after the paper exit,the machine still showing up error which says

    Caution " Paper Size Error "

    "Reset Paper Size A4"

    If anyone here knows the problem or the solution please help.

    Not by copy, but by printing.

      Thanks dallas....i have checked the auto continue thing..but it's the same...btw dallas...i forgot to inform that the printing image gone lower then the original and the rear edge of the printout got stuck at the exit roller just around 5mm...it's like the timing of the paper transport become out of allignment and slower....

        The same thing is happening to my machine...the Image is off...late

          There is a little black patch on the synchro solenoid which becomes sticky causing above mentioned problems.

          Replace the patch with apiece of thin felt or even electrical tape will do. Removing only will not work cause than the anchor of the solenoid will magnetically stick to the other side of the metal by magnetic force.

          First time you do this it will need some time to reach the solenoid. Needs a lot of dismantling. The right hand outer frame must be removed to come there.
