    Konica-Minolta 5430 spots on paper

    I have a customer that has a Konica-Minolta color printer that leaves black pock marks on paper, in direction of paper travel. Have cleaned belt and cleaning blade and tested but no problem. A few days later small circles (pock marks) appear. Usually after sitting over nite. Anybody had this problem?

      does the problem go away after the machine runs for a time, or do you have to go to the machine and "clean it" in order for the marks to disappear? does this usually happen in the morning? would check paper first, possible moisture problem in paper, or condensation building up on black Image unit?

          Well I changed out the black image unit and the problem has disappeared. Thanks for the imput, I appreciate it. Blackhawk
