    [CQ] Bizhub c350 registration issues

    Any input from your techs on this?
    C350 8 1/2 x 11 is ok but from 11 to 17 color reg goes crazy. Tried cleaning all sensors and firmware update.
    I saw this once before on another machine and firmware fixed problem, but not this time.

          What is the life counters of the IU's and transfer belt? Have you run any registraion correction? Is there any damage on transfer belt?

              Have you reset the machine and gone back thru running adjustments? 8.5X11 is ok? Have you adj fuser speed at all? Longer size paper might have a speed issue between reg and fuser? But yes what are the life counters at? Has anything been replaced, before or after prob started?

                  Machine only has 57k on it. Life counters are good on all. tried reg and fuser speed adj. with no success. FD zoom will adjust on a testpage, but doesn't affect the prints with color.

                      Are you getting any P codes? Wont stop machine but will appear under the oil can. IDC sensor errors and the like. regardless of counts, if adjustments wont work would lean toward replacing belt. Do the motors slow down during process?

                          No P codes listed. machine had standard controller. I added a fiery for the customer then a couple days later they called about this issue.Thinking about bringing back to shop and testing next to working machine but that looks bad to customer.

                              did you check the led unit pin ( both side ) loose.... ?

                                  I see that problem here and there on C350's. The fix for it is to play with the fuser line speed. (in tech mode) That should fix it.
                                  Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

                                      I agree with RRodgers, im not an expert on Bizhubs but have had similiar issues on C350 & adj fuser line speed did sort it in then end. Good luck
