Hi all, has anyone seen this on a c350. The grey band on the lead edge only happens on the first print/copy out of a run. If I do single colours it only appears on black but again only on the first print of a run. Internal test prints are OK except the K print which will have the dark band on it. The machine has recently had a transfer belt fitted, but I`m leaning towards the image unit being faulty. Any input would be appreciated.....

Swapping the unit, even with a used one is the easiest way to eliminate the issue. It could also be a bias issue with the transfer belt cleaning section. Perhaps removal and inspection of the tabs and buttons, cleaning them with alcohol may fix this. Even simply removing and reseating the belt. Stranger things have happened.
