this code means K TCR sensor error (toner carrier ratio), so the imm.unit has reached its end or the toner is not enough , meaning the ratio between toner and carrier or developer in the imm. unit is not in spec . if toner is stil enough then change imm.unit . you can add toner in service mode and see what it does.

actually, error code c2557 is ATDC sensor failure, this error code appear coz your drum, developer lifespan is over, over toner, or electrical parts is damage.
if your drum or developer lifespan not yet over, just do adjustment to ATDC gain,
press utility/counter, check detail, stop-0-0-stop-0-1 and enter the password (default code is 00000000)
after u go to tech rep mode, select tech.rep.choice, printer, ATDC gain.
adjust the value to higher than original. don't forget check the level history, ATDC current must around 5%to 6%.
in my case, i got some error code c2557 in bh350, but i change everything is still same problem. error code c2557 with ATDC current to 10%!
the problem solve i change 2 solenoid drive hopper unit, solenoid (9J06M20000), solenoid (4040M20000) and i can solve my problem.

You mean while running F8?
What did you do and why did you do it?
Meaning did you replace the developer..?

The code means the voltage from the TCR sensor was way out of range. Could be the toner carrier ratio is way out.
Or the sensor, connectors cable or control is faulty.

Я изменил разработчик на новый для инструкции по эксплуатации. Сначала была ошибка с 2557. Во время f8 произошла ошибка with c255c.

Did you clear the life counters and restarted the machine with the side door open?
You must close the door just before you run F8.
If you do not do it that way the machine will give that code C2557.
Go to tech rep choice in service mode then to printer. Find the gain adjustment value.
Normal is between 145 and 155.

Make sure the TCR sensor is plunged in OK and the image unit is sitting properly.
Then do the procedure again.

Да. С открытой дверью. Перед тем как F8, дверь была закрыта. Теперь еще раз я буду проверять все контакты.
Можете ли вы сказать мне , как проверить моторы в сервисном режиме? Существует подозрение , что тонер не входит в блок проявки.

Add spoon by spoon full of tonner and reset life and run F8 until it stops moaning.
Seems like there is to little toner in there.

But before that remove the ATDC sensor and make sure there is no buildup or damage to it.
How does a demo page look like? dark or light?

Clear life counters, turn OFF machine , turn ON after 15s then run F8.

But if you get c255c after running F8 that means that TCR sensor cannot make measurement of developer at all meaning either tcr has something on (clean it) or developer needs to be replaced.

To be on the safe side saying to replace developing unit and developer is the best bet.

It works with solenoids and spring clutches.
No way to check that from service mode.
There is a reed switch in the sub hopper and the magnet actuator can get stuck.
You can strip open the sub-hopper and clean it.

If the solenoids get stuck(damper pads gets old and sticky) it normally adds to much toner.
If the solenoid does not kick in it will not add toner and should ask you to replace the toner bottle.

Hello,
Go to service manual, and find ATDC Gain, and change the number only for 5 MAX gain. I solved much problem for that way.
Sure, if you have developer in unit, and if you have toner in hooper.
I hope so, that you not change toner manufactured ( etc KATUN, ORIGINAL, CHINA )
