The code references an abnormal low toner density in the black IU.
Check the toner bottle to ensure that it is feeding toner into the sub hopper unit under the bottle. Sometimes users will insert the bottle incorrectly and not lock it properly in place...the lever on the front of the toner hopper for that bottle is moved down to the left to remove and insert the bottle. When moved to the upper position, it both locks the bottle in place and opens a cover on the bottom of the bottle.
It is possible the toner hopper itself is not functioning as well. Either the motor drive is not working, that is, broken, or there is a problem with the printer control board that it is connected to. This is a rare problem and not very likely.
Also, it is possible the image unit itself is defective...the sensor could be at fault...or its not pushed in correctly to make an electrical connection.

Please do not PM me for questions related to Konica Minolta hardware.
I will not answer requests or questions there.
Please ask in the KM forum for the benefit of others to see the question and give their input.
Try searching the forum and you will find the code usually happens if a drum or dev count has been reset without actually replacement. You also have to do the clearance of the counters before closing the rh door.
Always search the forum before asking for assistance, as often the fix has been posted before.
This code will occur if you relplace the drum unit w/o replacing the developer. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.
Ooops...disregard my last...I somehow thought the machine was a C250....different beast all together.

This is another case of all the techs guessing because the poster did not think any extra info was needed, like a meter count and when , if ever the drum was changed. If you are a user, call a tech.

From an end user or an untrained tech in a 3rd world country this would be understandable and forgivable but you're right FixTheCopier, some of our "professional" colleagues...........
hi..this error code related to the ATDC sensor..may you should make ATDC adjustment in the service mode...or if you replaced the developer with incorrect one..this machine working with dv310 type
i hope this help....happy new year..

You are correct. Same people would call a car repair center and say "My car runs bad, what could it be."

With my Bizhub 250, I got an error code C2557.
Can you help me to fix this error
this code means K TCR sensor error (toner carrier ratio), so the imm.unit has reached its end or the toner is not enough , meaning the ratio between toner and carrier or developer in the imm. unit is not in spec . if toner is stil enough then change imm.unit . you can add toner in service mode and see what it does.
Could be a lot of things. Are you running after market toner? If you reset the I.U. with out an actual replacment, did you check you toner levels first? Is the toner path clogged? (seen it with after market junk)
