This 850 ran fine until a day ago, now display says warming up. Can the fixing temp sensors be displayed? What temp does the fixer normally operate at?

Still could not find in either management list or any other list. Did find the warm up problem. Bad connector #4027-1434-01 that feeds the fixer heaters is burned. Anyone had the pleasure of cleaning or replacing this connector. No disassembly instructions in the book, I'll just have to follow my nose.Comment

I have a BH920 doing the same thing! I looked at the lamps and all seem to work but have got spares to take with me again tomorrow. We have had problems with thermistors on these as well. Please do not PM me without asking first.Comment

Took out the wire harness feeding the lamps. Some previous tech must have bent the tab on the fuser and slammed it into the connector. The shutters covering the connector and mounting bracket were bent. I don't think the connectors were mating completely and were arcing. This could explain why it worked some of the time. I'll find out in the morning after I clean up the contacts and reassemble.Comment
