    konica 7165 grainy copies and spilling dv

    I have a 7165 spilling dv and getting grainy copies, 38 k on the dv, new drum and blade...
    hmmm... i had to increase the HV charge to 255 to get it to stop,cleared it right up. what would cause this to be so abnormal? possible hv board on the blink? confused for now but its working.

        Look at the mylars on the ends of the T/S Corona assembly. If they are worn or torn the T/S comes too close to the drum discharging it and causing it to pull dev. If they are damaged you should replace the T/S Corona.

            Chek your dip-sw setting at dip-sw 27,make sure the bit 0,1,3,5,6,7 set to "1". Also dip-sw 23 bit 2 & 3 set to "1". i think you use non original toner
