        Re: C3451 will not reset

Thanks, any work around for checking the touchscreen(to confirm death) as i have no replacement,----when I try the hard reset---utilility+powerswitch It goes to the trouble reset on screen from there if I hit 0-0-s-0-0-1 to enter service it will flash to the service screen for a split second then return to error screen reporting C3451, checked right side switches and there is 120v to fuser power section on power supply board but nothing out to fuser -- it seem that the Mfpb is not sending any Signal to thyristors in fuser power section of board replaced mfpb still no joy don'nt want to go down the rabbit hole of blind Part replacemnt. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Re: C3451 will not reset STATUS UPDATE

after "rasman's" suggestion and a correspondence with "solotime" Got me thinking------(sometimes a dangerous proposition) ohmed out the four conductor ribbon to the touchscreen figuring that the resistance should change as the screen was touched---found open across 3 conductors -------reheated connection at glass--fired up and now trouble reset is functioning.
Thanks fellas for pointing me in the right direction-----all the best!

Did you mention what the model number was?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
