C450/ineo +450 dark density (no setting adjusted)

Good Day...

Hi guy, just this week we got this problem..

The density of colored images and black text gets dark.. Dark as in the text in meter reading print out looks like a BOLD font, even its not..
Upon printing colored text, its still the same dark density.. Dark and Heavy text..

We change Imaging unit of black and Print Head of black, hoping it would reduce the density.. But it didnt change the problem..

Any suggestions my fellow engrs??

Im about to check and change the High Voltage board..

have you done the gradation adjustments and cleaned the AIDC sensors etc.? Also what about the internal test prints?

Gradation adjust dont work..

I mean, it print only pattern but as i press start to scan this error comes out

"stabilizer NG" or sometimes "scanner error"

Okey, i cant say that scanner is the problem because it can do PHOTOCOPY..

Okey, i cant say that scanner is the problem because it can do PHOTOCOPY..

Go into tech rep mode & adjust the "scan area"...then carry out the gradation, yes it willl still copy if the scan area is worng...try it first

Reading what you've written...not sure it is that..no harm in trying though...just follow the instructions...think it prints a test page for you to copy...i just increased the scan area a bit...until it worked..found it easier...this may not cause your density problem..but it might solve your gradation problems
