    FS602

    Adding a fs602 to a biz hub 600 and getting a c1139 service code.
Looking for a manual for fs602.
Looked at manuals 4 you but there are none listed, only the 600 by itself.
Anyone know where i can get one and or can you tell me where the m303 registration motor is?

There are dip switches that must be changed when you add the finisher..I attached the install guide for you, if you still have issues, let us know. Emujo

The service manual for the FS-602 is contained inside this manual:

FS-504/FS-505/FS-602, C-1139 code which may be intermittent and/or accompanied by an abnormal noise.
        Description:
        FS-504/FS-505/FS-602, C-1139 code.
        Solution:
        PROBABLE CAUSES:
        1. Softswitch 32-1 is ON.
Disable softswitch 32-1 by selecting OFF. This switch is a manual recognition of the machine model.

        2. Registration stopper on the finisher entrance guide conveyance guide one is out of position. The registration rotation lever binds motor M303 creating a chatter.
        Put stopper back into position.

        3. M303 (Registration Shutter motor) failure.
        Inspect/replace M303 (p/n 13GQ 8001 2).

        Subject:
        After installing the PK-502, PK-503, PK-504 or PK-505, error code C-1139, J72-17 or J72-18 is indicated.
        Description:
        C-1139, J72-17 or J72-18.
        Solution:
CAUSE: When installing the punch kit to the finisher (FS-504/FS-602, FS-509/FS-604, FS-524/FS-525/FS-610), the mylar sheet at the entrance of the punch kit overlaps on the shutter plate of the finisher.

SOLUTION: After installing the punch kit, open/close the finisher entrance and conveyance guide/ once. When this operation is performed, the mylar position is corrected. Please refer to the attached illustration

I have had this error and I ended up replacing the Reg shutter motor. It is a little motor that runs the guide at the entrance of the finisher.
        Hope this helps

OK GUYS I CHANGED THE DIP SWITCH,BUT I AM STILL GETTING A CODE AND A NOISE THAT SOUNDS LIKE GEARS SLIPPING. BUT NOT REAL LOUD.
I PURCHASED A SERVICE MANUAL FROM MANUALS 4U BUT IT DOES NOT INCLUDE PARTS BREAK DOWN FOR THE FINISHER ONLY MAIN BODY. CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHERE THE M303 MOTOR IS (OR THE PART NUMBER AND I CAN FIND IT MYSELF)? AND WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION STOPPER? IF I SOUND CLUELESS..............................I AM. THANKS

Have you done a service code reset? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

hey guys back on this project. nothing seems to work. it is also making a noise right before it throws the code. i am wondering if it is a lift motor problem. anyone know where that is located?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP IT WAS THE M303 MOTOR!
BUT, NOW IT IS BENDING THE STAPLES. IS THERE ADJUSTMENT FOR THE SADDLE STITCH? IT IS NOT CONSISTENT ABOUT WHICH STAPLE IT BENDS BUT IT BENDS ONE OF THEM ALMOST EVERY TIME.
                    THANKS AGAIN.

The cincher and staple head are out of alignment. this is either trial and error or use the jig to align it.

On the saddle stitch unit you have two parts. the head and the clincher. One on either side of the where the paper stacks before stapling. these need to be aligned or they do not staple correctly.
There is a jig that you insert instead of the staple cartridge and use this to align the head to the clincher. Once the jig inserted you move the units together and loosen the clincher and wiggle it until they go together smoothly. If you do not have this then you can use trial and error to get it close enough.
