Have just bought in a used C352. The previous servicing dealer appears to have changed the administrator password from 12345678 and has also changed the service password from 00000000. Does anybody know if there is a way around either of these or a backdoor code that works on all machines regardless of the changes ? I would assume there is at least a backdoor for engineers into the administrator mode as you cannot legislate for end users changing that. I know if CE authentification is changed then it's a new boards job but have never come across this before as i've never changed any myself before or known anybody stupid enough to do so!

Re: C352 Changed administrator code
the code to enter the tech rep mode isn't 00000000, but the code using the "stop" button, then you go into enhanced security when in tech rep to change the admin codeTip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away... -
Re: C352 Changed administrator code
On minolta machines if enabled; after stop 00, stop 01 the machine then prompts for an 8 digit password code which is normaly 00000000 but on this machine is not! This is stopping me getting fully into service mode to allow to go to enhanced security (0C) and reset the administrator password. This is why I am currently stuffed!!!!Comment
