    [CQ] bh C280

Hi all here. I have this C280 whith 450000 prints on it. The issue that you can see opening the PDF is intermittent and black related. I have changed the belt, black drum and developer unit too. I've changed the clutch (A0EDM20000) that allow the rotation of the black developing unit and lasers unit too.. I'm thinking at a memory issue, but Im remaining out of ideas...Do you have some good idea for me?C280 sample.pdf

Is the sample from Print, Copy or both?

What does the black gradation test pattern look like from service mode?

Hi and thanks for your response. It does not matter what kind of job you are doing. The internals tests sometimes are normal and sometimes like the sample. Today I've discovered an arcing between the second trasfer roller assy pin and its contact, cleaned all but again no...

Check the fusing speed and/or loop. I've seen this when a salesman tried helping a customer wanting to print and fold thicker papers without losing quality, which in turn made normal weight papers look like your sample.

Already tried it...here they use only 80 grams paper and no thick is selected, A4 and A3...the problem is still here...

In that case, I would check for vibration on the black drum drive

I've seen HV1 failures causing this type of pattern. Check your connections or try replacing the board.

                    Good to know.

I didn't think that it looked like laser or high voltage. The interval is too regular. It almost had to be something mechanical, roller or gear drive.

                    Thanks for sharing, acusso. =^..^=
