    Re: c220 double impression

Possible cause is "bad" paper. Had this problem once...I swapped paper
for different brand and problems were over.

    From bulletin:

With C360 series, when printing by using some paper kind in low coverage, fusing roller become dirty.

    [Cause]
Paper dust and toner accumulate gradually on the surface of fusing roller each paper feed.As a result, fusing offset occurs.
    [Action in the field 1]
In order to clean fusing roller by user, added the function of fuser cleaning mode.
    Firmware: Ver. GC5-C6 and onward
Fuser cleaning mode is appeared in Administrator Settings by setting Software Switch to the following setting
with firmware of Ver. GC5-C6 and onward.

Software Switch No. :HEX Assignment 00 :HEX Assignment 40 :

    15
This modification is not applied. (default)This modification is effective.

[Administrator Settings] -> [System Settings] -> [Expert Adujstment] -> [Fuser cleaning]

    [Action in the field 2]
Even Ver. GC5-C6 backward is installed, the same remedy can be performed in service mode.

Thick 1 mode (Plain Paper can be used. Setting thick 1 so as to slow down printing speed)- If it's after occuerring image problem, printing 2 sheets and over.
    - If preventing image problem from occurring, printing a sheet with each printing 5K.

Double impression at what interval? If it's the fuser it should be ~175mm.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

What he means is that you should measure the distance from the original/ actual image to the point on the sheet where you see the ghost image. That distance, if 175 mm is being caused by the fuser, less than that is probably caused by the drum.

Can u please provide me with the Firmware u have mentioned here. I have fmw ver. C3.

And the image shadow occurs at around 95mm So as per the comments its not the fuser problem..

and I didnt get what is this 5K in the last line.

The fuser becomes contaminated from using "recycled" paper.
Try good quality paper & your problem will probably disappear.
