c250 stabilizer ng why?

Can not get this to.do gradations. No error shows up but in service mode it says stabilizer ng.

Any ideas why?

Are you sure there aren't any P-codes? Every time I see the "NG" message, there has been a related P-Code. Did you check under "warnings" when you were checking the service codes?

907tec is right. Check for an oilcan on the screen. If it is there, touch it and it will show the P codes.

I've had this before with no error codes on a few machines.

If someone tries to print to the machine when its in service mode this can happen. restarting the machine from the main switch and disconnected from the network usually solves the problem for me.

However, as above check for P-codes first.

have had this on C352 & C250...go into tech rep mode & increase the "scan area"
