Konica c652 installed PI-505 Post Inserter

    Hi,

Just installed a PI-505 Post Inserter on a Konica C652. It works fine printing through the Fiery. But when I try to use it offline for some folding the on/off button is lit amber instead of green. Is there a setting in service mode or a software switch setting that must be changed. I'm stuck so any input would be much appreciated.

Try doing the paper size adjustment and make sure the paper is in the same orientation as the main body paper supply.

Yes, I tryed that already. It seems almost like it should be in a different mode for offline operation. I'm hoping its a software setting?

Considering you followed the paper size detection adjustment after install properly then check out bulletin TAUS0902717EN00. Firmware updates to improve the capabilites of the PI-505.

Yes, I screwed up the size adjustment the first time around. Be sure to read the procedure all the way through. It won't function at all until the size is adjusted correctly. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
