    c451 imaging unit rebuild?

Anyone know if there is a rebuild kit for the C451 imaging units? Seems like such a waste to just replace the entire assembly.

    Thanks all

Just chip them or there is a f/w and some software switches you have to change to stop the message from appearing but for that ull need access to konika web site for more info.

        Hello all,

I know all the above and that is not what I am asking if you read carefully. Is there not anyone that sells a drum and blade kit for this?

There is and we've done it. Don't waste your time or money!!!! Its a pain in the ass to do and they don't last that long anyway. Your out the next month replacing the IU anyway. Why waste the time and travel!

I haven't rebuilt the C451 yet but have done the C253 and they work fine. The kit is drum, blade & fuse. They also sell all the color developers seperately.

I have been thinking about doing a rebuild on a k iu. I think what is most important is the developer and I guess the blade.
The drums seem to always out-live the units. I bet you can get 3x life on the drums.
